July Training

July 20th (RED SHIFT), Station 3, 10am: TRAINING

The agenda will be PPE, Non-Ambulatory Decon and re-supply of your gear. For those who are new to the team, non-ambulatory decon is the most taxing to the team for the amount of time and man-power it requires. EVERYONE needs this inservice and we will be revisiting it more frequently. Do NOT blow this off. Friday a small group of us went over some Decon basics, set-up the Zumro Tent and looked at building modular showers which are quick set-ups for Mass Decon corridor, both ambulatory and non-ambulatory. Those who are on duty at DCEMS may attend and on-duty Ball Hospital employees are automatically excused. If you cannot attend the training, please send a text or call someone on the Command Staff to let us know so we have a manageable head count. We are working on making a training schedule to give everyone adequate time to work around other commitments.
